Celebrate Giving Tuesday by Donating to Local Phoenix Charities

As the holiday season approaches, so does the season of giving. The team at S4 Group is happy to be participating in Giving Tuesday this year, and we would love share some local charities that could use your support as well.

Giving Tuesday is a worldwide event that started at the Belfer Center Innovation & Social Impact and has grown to reach over 150 countries, raise over $300 million, and garner over 21 billion online impressions. Founded just six years ago, the organization has used social media and the hashtag #GivingTuesday to amplify local, national, and worldwide acts of kindness.

This year Giving Tuesday will happen on November 27th. Whether its donating money and goods or volunteering your time, there are tons of ways to get involved with the cause. We’ve gathered just a few of the hundreds of organizations participating in the Phoenix area, so browse through and see how you can give back to the community!

The organization finds that students involved in after-school activity are more engaged in their academics and less likely to engage in risky behavior.

Clubs in the area post their needs online, and donors can shop through the requests and purchase different items. For every $100 donated, the students pledge to spend 1 hour of their time doing community service. If you’re interested in supporting local clubs and teams, visit the Support My Club website for more information on how to get involved.
